Tennis Canada, Rogers give subsidizing to six all year court projects

Rogers and Tennis Canada declared Tuesday that six regions have been chosen to get a sum of $1.2 million in financing for covered tennis courts.

Offices in Niagara Falls, Ont., Mississauga, Ont., St. Catharines, Ont., Chatham-Kent, Ont., and Ile-Bizard, Que. were affirmed Tuesday. An extra area in English Columbia will be reported before long.

The program, in its third year, will have 14 undertakings either continuous or finished before the year’s over.

A sum of 22 all year courts will be dealt with in 2024.

Before the year’s over, the complete number of all year tennis courts made by the program will arrive at north of 60 – more than 35% of the program’s objective of 160.
